AS - Applied Technical Studies

This curriculum is intended to provide a basic understanding of the electrical equipment systems of buildings and the fundamental hands-on skills to troubleshoot, service, and maintain installed electrical equipment in a variety of residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Students will learn basic concepts and applications of electrical codes and specifications and practice the fundamental hands-on skills to prepare for entry-level positions in electrical trade areas.
